Quality Is Built In From the Start

At Satori, quality begins well before a product reaches production. It starts with clear specifications, technical development, approved materials, finishes, and prototype validation, then continues through manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and packaging.

Our approach is designed to identify potential issues early, control variation throughout production, and ensure that finished products are evaluated against the requirements established for each customer, product, and destination market.

Prevention, Precision, & Accountability

Our approach to quality is based on a simple principle: get it right from the beginning.

Quality is a shared responsibility across product development, engineering, material preparation, manufacturing, finishing, assembly, packaging, and inspection.

Before production begins, approved drawings, prototypes, finish samples, materials, hardware, and packaging requirements establish a clear production standard. Throughout manufacturing, each stage is monitored so that variations can be identified and corrected before the product moves forward.

This preventive approach helps improve consistency, reduce unnecessary rework, and maintain greater control from the first prototype through ongoing production.

Our Quality Control System

Eight Quality Touchpoints. One Quality Standard

Satori’s eight quality-control touchpoints create a continuous process from raw materials and technical development through manufacturing, final inspection, and packaging.

Each touchpoint addresses a different stage of the product, but together they serve one objective: establish the right standard before production, maintain that standard while the product is being manufactured, and verify the finished goods before shipment.

Pre-Finish Assembly

Quality begins with the components specified for the product. Materials are checked for suitability, consistency, and conformity with the requirements established during development.

Technical drawings are generated and reviewd ensuring critical dimensions, construction details, materials, hardware, and finishes are clearly defined and understood.

The approved prototype becomes the benchmark for production. Design details, construction, function, materials, and finishes are resolved and approved before the product moves forward.

Products are assembled and evaluated before finishing, when corrections to construction, fit, alignment, joinery, or other physical details can still be made efficiently.

Packaging Verification

Finishes are controlled against the approved reference, with attention to surface preparation, color, texture, sheen, coverage, and consistency across individual pieces and production runs.

Once finishing is complete, products are assembled and tested as finished furniture, with particular attention to fit, alignment, stability, hardware operation, function, and presentation.

Before packing, the completed product receives a final review against the approved product requirements, covering workmanship, dimensions, function, finish, components, accessories, and overall appearance.

The final check focuses on how the product will travel. Protection, cartons, components, instructions, labels, and markings are reviewed for correct packing and shipment preparation.
